One Voice

I'm tired of this world
Everything done in the effort of gain
All caused is pain
So where does it end
Maybe just up around the bend

So go ahead and believe what they say
I'm still gonna stay at bay
Soon will come the day
When all will rejoice
And all will have one voice

I'm tired of a world
Starved by greed
With so many in need
So where does it all end
Maybe just up around the bend

So go ahead and believe what they tell you
I'm still lookin for a different view
Soon will come the day
When all will rejoice
And all will speak with one voice

I'm tired of a world
Strangled by fear
Women and children shed a painful tear
So where does it end
Maybe just up around the bend

So go ahead and follow their lead
Their call I'll not heed
Soon will come the day
When all will rejoice
and all will sing with one voice

Oh how the mighty will fall
And soon will the shackels be broken
This world of silver and gold will surely crumble
Let us return to one much more humble

So go ahead and sow their lies
I'm not the one who shall die
Soon will come the day
When all will revolt
And all will run free like a wild colt

I'm tired of this world
Where dreams are no longer pursued
And our children are subdued
So where does it all end
Maybe just up around the bend
GOD I'm sick and tired of a world
Doomed by its own hand
So raped is this land
So when does it all end
Can't be just up around the bend

So go ahead and fuckin just watch
I'll not give them the privalige of one more notch
Soon will come the day
When all will rejoice
and all will have a choice

All these _________x

All these faces
All these scars
All of who fought in our wars
Rivers filled by old men’s tears
Mounted upon all their greatest of fears

Money is your executioner
Guaranteed to be your only savior
Stokes the powers that are highest
Don’t they seem so pious

All these lost souls
All these bare feet
Nightly excursions to the streets
Blood is on the pavement
Justified by a default payment

Money is your executioner
Guaranteed to be your only savior
Stokes the powers that are highest
Don’t they seem so pious

There is something in the air today
Can't place my finger on it right away
See it in the faces of countless ignorents
They all seek revnorance
Condemned by their arrogance
When will the drums of war be silenced?
When will the drums of war be silenced?
Blood washed streets
Now we march to a different beat
People of the power turn their heads in disbelief
Only by the falling of the last leaf
Will they see the evils of our great chief
When will the drums of war be silenced?
When will the drums of war be silenced?

I am not but a shadow of my future self.
As I walk down the street
Give a polite nod to everyone I meet
Wish I could be more discreet
As I am sickened by their ignorance
Does the truth evade them so
Or are they just complacent and on the go
Whatever happened to our thorny queen
Why has she been replaced by a money scheme
Ohh it just goes to show
That this once great nation has taken a mighty blow
Wonder if these are our final days
I watch as our beloved children starve
And our walls get ever more barbed
Thought our path was so delicately carved

Got a fully automatic
It's so fantastic
Got to be cool like the other kids
Member of the crowd
Parent's ohh so proud
In the name of the father
I cross the water
Hide in a foreign land
Bring them down with an iron hand
Mount a massive attack
Such an eerie fact
Silent like the samurai
Member of the crowd
Parent's ohh so proud
In the name of the father
I cross the water
Hide in a foreign land
Bring them down with an iron hand

Hourglass Sand

It's just so hard to get through one of these days
These painful memories they just don't seem to fade away
If time is a healing hand
Then it's just like hourglass sand
Thoughts of what we once were parade through my mind
I am not but spectator in the crowd who has been left behind
Never present but yet still not gone
Yet somehow you still moved on
If time is a helping hand
Then it's just like hourglass sand
So I shed the last tear
Filled with so much fear
Take the last step into the dark unknown
Doomed to forever roam
If time is a healing hand
Then it's just like hourglass sand.
